Anew plan to update federal consumer safety ratings for cars won’t do nearly enough to incentivize automakers to build vehicles that are less likely to kill walkers, say advocates, who are urging a course correction from the Biden Administration.

Clean California “Beautification” Grants Include Bike and Pedestrian Improvements

Last week, the administration announced the release of $296 million in grants to 105 California communities for a wide range of projects, which can include trash removal, landscaping, and art installations – and pedestrian and bike path improvements.
