Cap off the week with the return of Sunday Streets in the Tenderloin, where streets that normally serve speeding motorists will be reclaimed for community gathering for an afternoon.

- Monday: SFMTA planners and Folks for Polk join a meeting of the Community Leadership Alliance to discuss the latest on the watered-down plans to improve safety and livability on Polk Street. 4 p.m.
- Tuesday: The SF Pedestrian Safety Advisory Committee agenda includes updates on the SFPD Traffic Company’s enforcement efforts, the SFMTA’s progress on developing the Pedestrian Strategy, the status of the Better Market Street plan, and more. 6 p.m.
- Wednesday: The Department of Public Works will host the second community meeting on plans to add greenery and streetscape improvements to central Irving Street in the Sunset. 6 p.m.
- Thursday: The SF Public Utilities Commission and other agencies host a Holloway Green Street Community Open House to develop a plan for greenery, traffic calming, pedestrian and bicycling improvements on Holloway Avenue in Ingleside. 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday: The SFMTA Engineering Hearing agenda includes sidewalk extensions on outer Taraval Street near Ocean Beach. 10 a.m.
- Also Friday: Oakland celebrates the opening of Latham Square, a new pilot pedestrian plaza reclaimed from road space on a block of Telegraph Avenue. 12 p.m.
- Sunday: Sunday Streets is back in the Tenderloin, bringing car free space to play in along Larkin, O’Farrell, Jones, Golden Gate, Hyde, Fulton and Grove Streets. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
