This innovative open space project is a six-block long outdoor classroom that over the past 15 years has been developed as a partnership between the Visitacion Valley Greenway Project, the Recreation and Park Department and the Trust for Public Land. Transforming the historically neglected community, it has led to the neighborhood’s ongoing revitalization. Each of the gardens has a unique theme.
