This week, get ready to protest and party as the MTA hears a Muni service cut proposal and Streetsblog celebrates its one-year anniversary. Here are the highlights:

• Tuesday: SPUR Lunchtime Forum: The Complete Street: A new plan for Cesar Chavez. See an example of San Francisco’s new approach to street planning with the redesign of Cesar Chavez Street. 12:30 p.m.
• Tuesday: SFMTA Board Meeting – Speak Out on Proposed Muni Service Cuts. Muni is proposing cuts to nearly every line to close a $16.9 million budget gap. Transit advocates are mobilizing Muni riders to speak out at the meeting against the proposed cuts. 2 p.m.
• Wednesday: EBBC General Meeting: Sunday Streets, West Span Pathway & Bus Driver Education. Get updated on EBBC’s latest projects. 7-10 p.m.
• Thursday: Streetsblog SF Anniversary Party and Fundraiser. Streetsblog SF turned a year old this month, and to celebrate our successes, and look ahead to 2010, we’re throwing a party! We’ll provide the music, food and drinks, you provide your wit and cheer. 6-9:30 p.m.
• Friday: SPUR Lunchtime Forum: The Legacy of Livable Streets: Four decades later, what have we learned? Donald Appleyard’s seminal 1981 book Livable Streets revealed the detrimental effects of automobile traffic on street life and communities. Join SPUR for a discussion on the book’s legacy with Bruce Appleyard, who is working on the second edition to his father’s book, and Joshua Hart, who will discuss his plane-free journey from San Francisco to the UK, where he replicated Donald Appleyard’s study for the first time in Europe. 12:30 p.m.
• Sunday: Do the Wiggle Walking Tour. Celebrate the route bicyclists generally use to avoid hills and tour the social history of the Lower Haight. This tour looks at the "shifting definitions and challenges of the local landscape." 1 p.m.
