Market Octavia Living Alley Project – Workshop #2

From San Francisco Planning Department:

The main goal of Market and Octavia Living Alley Program is to enable residents to engage in place making — to create a public realm that strengthens the community, creates a sense of identity, and makes a more useful, safe, and attractive neighborhood.

Please join us to learn more about how alleys can be designed to improve safety, enjoyment, and comfort for all.

We will discuss:

  • What you need to know to design a living alley.
  • MTA presentation on potential midblock crossings.

This project will help residents and business owners make a network of public places that strengthen the community, create a sense ofidentity, and make a more useful, safe, and attractive neighborhood.

We need your involvement. Please join us!
