This week, the Fell and Oak Street bikeway project goes to the SFMTA Board for final approval, supervisor candidates in districts 9 and 11 talk livable streets, bike advocate and former Congressman James Oberstar speaks at UC Berkeley, and Sunday Streets finishes the year in the Excelsior.

Here are all the highlights from the Streetsblog calendar:

• Tuesday: SFMTA Board of Directors Meeting. The SF Municipal Transportation Agency Board is poised to give the green light to separated bikeways and pedestrian safety improvements on three blocks of Fell and Oak Streets connecting the Wiggle to the Panhandle. You can show the board your support at the meeting or submit your comments by email. 1 p.m.
• Wednesday and Thursday: Supervisor Candidate Forum on Streets and Parks: Districts 9 and 11. Will your next supervisor be a leader in livable streets? Candidates in districts 9 and 11 continue a series of forums about how to improve the city’s streets and parks. 7 p.m.
• Thursday: Jim Oberstar Lecture: The Seeds of Our 21st Century Transportation Network. James Oberstar, former Congressman and “Cycling’s Best Friend in Washington,” speaks at UC Berkeley on the history of American transportation policy. 4 p.m.
• Saturday: Greenbelt Alliance: Cycling Through South San Jose. Join Greenbelt Alliance’s Adam Garcia and Evan Lovett-Harris for this 30-mile bike ride exploring how South San Jose plans to grow in the next 30 years. 9 a.m.
• Sunday: Sunday Streets Outer Mission/Excelsior. Don’t miss the final Sunday Streets of the year, taking place at the same time as the Excelsior Arts and Music Festival, along Seneca Avenue and Mission Street in the Excelsior. 11 a.m.
