Pedal to some of the historic sites from the legendary time of Rosie the Riveter. From Berkeley to the Richmond Inner Harbor and the Rosie the Riveter / WWII Home Front National Historic Park. We’ll take an extra close look at the former Ford assembly plant that once cranked out cars and jeeps and tanks, now re-worked into a fascinating mixed-use property called Ford Point, a preview of the sort of re-use brewing at San Francisco’s Pier 70 (we’ll be joined by folks from Orton Development, responsible for the Ford Point project and planning another one for Pier 70).
